solar eclipse 2023: date, time: the first solar eclipse of 2023. science news

Solar eclipse:-

Friends, today we will know what is the difference between solar eclipse and lunar eclipse and will also know why solar eclipse ends sooner than lunar eclipse.

Hybrid solar eclipse comes to 100 years
This solar eclipse comes after 100 years and in this solar eclipse, for a few seconds, a ring-shaped shape will be formed, which is also called the Ring of Fire.

Mainly, the reason for eclipse is that when a planet covers another planet, then an eclipse occurs. Where it is a matter of solar eclipse, then when the Earth revolves around the Sun, then the Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth, therefore, due to the cover of the Sun, the Sun appears in a ring and the Moon blocks the light of the Sun and that  The shadow of about 50 kilometer is formed in the country.

There are three types of solar eclipse, mainly

  •  partial solar eclipse
  • annular solar eclipse
  • total solar eclipse.

If when the sun is half covered then it is a partial solar eclipse and the moon covers the sun, it looks like a ring, it is called an annular solar eclipse and when the moon covers the sun completely, it is called a total solar eclipse.  That's why the shadow formed in the earth extends for about 50 kilometers and the shadow of the moon always moves from west to east.

A solar eclipse always ends quickly. A solar eclipse always lasts for 7 minutes and 8 seconds. A solar eclipse occurs on a new moon day.

Solar eclipse has a huge effect,

  • first it should not be seen with your eyes because due to high UV rays you can also become blind.
  • secondly the light gets hidden from the solar eclipse and the temperature in the earth becomes very low.

lunar eclipse :-

If the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, it is called a lunar eclipse. A lunar eclipse lasts for 3 hours 28 minutes and always occurs after a lunar eclipse full moon because at that time there is direct light in the moon which is called full moon. A lunar eclipse is always longer because the moon moves in the same direction along with the Earth.

Hybrid solar eclipse:-

The first solar eclipse of the year 2023 will begin on Thursday, April 20 at 7:04 am and will end at 12:29 pm.

This solar eclipse will not be visible in India.  This solar eclipse will be visible in Antarctica, Thailand, China, Baruni, Solomon, Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia, East and South Asia and Indian Ocean.

This solar eclipse comes after 100 years and in this solar eclipse, for a few seconds, a ring-shaped shape will be formed, which is also called the Ring of Fire.
