steroid 2023 DW has "very small change" of hitting Earth on valentine's day 2046.

NASA has recently told that in the year 2046, an asteroid may pass near the Earth. If the condition of this asteroid discovered by NASA remains, then it will pass through a distance of 1.1 million kilometers from the Earth on February 2046.

Researchers are doing research on this so that more is yet to be known about it.  According to the Torino impact hazard scale, this asteroid is ranked 1, which indicates a very low hazard, 

• asteroids with a rank of 2, 3, 4 indicate a low hazard, 
• asteroids with a rank of 5, 6, and 7 indicate a slightly higher hazard. 
• asteroids with numbers 8, 9, 10 are considered to be very dangerous asteroids, which are very likely to hit the Earth.  This is a scale prepared by NASA.

The researcher has said that if the 2023 DW asteroid hits the Earth, there will not be much damage if it hits the urban areas, then there can be a big loss.  An asteroid smaller than the asteroid 2023 DW fell in Russia 10 years ago. 

Which was very dangerous.  Due to its fall, there was a shock for 200 square kilometers, in which 1500 people were injured.  But this will not happen because NASA recently changed its path by colliding the asteroid and the spacecraft.  Which was successful.
